The Leadership Series
The most successful and inspirational leaders are those that drive continuous improvement, always seeking new and innovative ways to benefit stakeholders. The Leadership Series provides an invaluable opportunity for headteachers and senior leaders in education to step back from the daily demands to reconsider what they are doing and why.
Each event in this series of half-day conferences facilitates a stimulating forum to hear about and discuss ideas and strategies which are intended to improve, motivate and develop individuals and communities. High-calibre, national speakers at the forefront of education address topical issues exercising school leaders. Case studies of headteachers who have achieved dramatic results with tangible improvements will share and support best practice.
The inspirational content of each conference is underpinned by an intimate format that actively encourages two-way dialogue between delegates and speakers. Questions and opportunities to debate theory, strategies and principles are combined with designated networking time to stimulate the sharing of ideas and best practice with colleagues.
Attending these events will provide:
• an insight into the mind and practices of recognised and highly respected experts in leadership
• an understanding of how principles work in practice through case studies and real experiences
• practical supporting resources to take back into school and objectively assess school performance
• opportunities to network and share ideas with colleagues
Supporting Resources
Every delegate will receive the following to support the implementation of concepts in school:
• an executive summary of the day to provide an invaluable précis of each session, including discussions and conclusions
• complete copies of all Powerpoint presentations featured in the programme
• a self-evaluation tool specifically designed to support delegates in assessing their own context, leadership and management against the key themes of the day.
