Launching the Leadership Series, this event explored the characteristics of good versus outstanding leadership, how it can transform the lives of those how experience and provide it, and how the outstanding traits can be achieved and maintained.

Educational leaders must ensure the school environment offers equal opportunities and a sense of unity and cohesion across many ethnic and socio-economic groups. Leading and Managing Diversity explored proven ways to create such a community, and also recognised the potential barriers to achieving success.

This event delivered a thorough study of how the most successful educational leaders are nurturing strong links with the community to improve provision and standards in their schools.

This challenging exploration of professional health looked beyond simply attainment levels to how to establish and maintain an environment that encourages both staff and learners alike to achieve full potential.

International Leadership: What They can Learn from Us, What We can Learn from Them
By focussing on the similarities and differences in educational practice and culture between UK and international education, this was an invaluable awareness of how looking beyond one’s own educational community can deliver significant school improvement.
