Our work with local authorities
We work in partnership with local authorities across the country providing access to our expertise and best practice. Our approach is to develop integrated relationships.
We believe in linking our rewards to the delivery of outputs and improvements.
Some or current work includes:
• Joint venture with a major Shire County to deliver school improvement and support services
• Strategic partnership with a major inner London borough to deliver school improvement, support and admissions services
• Provider of school improvement and support services including curriculum, leadership and inclusion to increase attainment in primary and secondary.
• Provider of curriculum consultancy and support to schools in a wide range of subject areas on behalf of numerous local authorities
• Delivery of a major DCSF-funded contract to determine the future direction of education service commissioning in a London Borough
• Strategic Partnering Organisation for a BSF programme for a London Borough, responsible for the development, procurement and implementation
• Delivery of BSF programme for a London Borough, involving building and refurbishment of schools, ICT set up and provision of Managed Services.
Our work with government departments
We support central government and government agencies on regional and national contracts in helping to develop the school workforce and extended services.
Our current work includes:
• National Assessment Agency for Advanced Skills Teachers (AST) and Excellent Teachers (ET) in England and Wales on behalf of the DCSF
• Manage the PSHE CPD Certification programme nationally on behalf of the DCSF
• Deliver the Multi-Agency Team Development (MATD) programme in London and the South East, in partnership with the national learning charity ContinYou, on behalf of the National College for School Leadership’s (NCSL)
• Regional provider of Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) assessment for London and South East England on behalf of the Training and Development Agency (TDA) for schools, working with 52 local authorities. We are the largest national contractor of HLTA services in the UK.
• National priorities in CPD Awards – Improving the working relationships between teachers and teaching assistants – on behalf of the TDA
